Financial Analysis Fundamentals Course Overview Financial analysis is a crucial aspect of assessing a business’s financial health. It offers insights into performance and highlights potential vulnerabilities. In CFI’s “Financial Analysis Fundamentals” course, we will compute and interpret ratios for three different companies, offering insights into their profitability, asset utilization, leverage, and liquidity. Subsequently, we will compare these companies, examining trends, benchmarking, and delving into the DuPont Pyramid. You will also learn how to evaluate financial performance using both quantitative analysis and business context, helping you identify operational strengths, financial risks, and areas for improvement. The course will emphasize how ratios work together to provide a more complete view of a company’s overall financial condition. In addition, you will develop practical skills in comparing companies across industries and time periods, interpreting trends, and presenting financial insights clearly and professionally. By the end of the course, you will be able to perform meaningful financial analysis to support business, lending, and investment decisions.
