Syllabus

  • Kubernetes Deployment Foundations
    • This module covers the fundamentals of deploying applications in Kubernetes. Learners will explore Kubernetes architecture, create and manage deployments, use namespaces for environment isolation, and apply labels and selectors to organize and manage workloads effectively through hands-on demonstrations.
  • Kubernetes Workload and Storage Management
    • This module covers Kubernetes workload and storage management. Learners will deploy and manage DaemonSets, Jobs, and CronJobs, while gaining an understanding of Kubernetes storage concepts and persistent data management through practical demonstrations.
  • Kubernetes Configuration and Cluster Operations
    • This module focuses on application configuration, security, and deployment strategies in Kubernetes. Learners will manage ConfigMaps and Secrets, explore deployment approaches such as Blue-Green and Canary releases, practice incident response scenarios, and understand access control and permissions for securing Kubernetes environments.
  • Kubernetes Scaling and Performance Management
    • This module covers Kubernetes scaling and performance optimization. Learners will explore autoscaling techniques, understand scaling best practices, and gain hands-on experience in managing cluster resources and workload scaling to ensure efficient application performance.
  • Kubernetes Updates and Lifecycle Management
    • This module focuses on Kubernetes application lifecycle and resource management. Learners will perform rolling updates and rollbacks, manage CPU and memory allocations, and explore scheduling and resource control mechanisms to ensure reliable, efficient, and highly available deployments.
