You'll also develop a job-ready resume using competency-driven language, craft your LinkedIn profile for accounting roles, and prepare for technical interviews with proven response frameworks for real accounting scenarios. From accounts payable and payroll processing to financial reconciliation and month-end close, you'll practice applying your accounting knowledge in realistic workplace contexts. Syllabus

Capstone Orientation & Problem Definition

You will define the scope of a comprehensive financial management system by analyzing business challenges, establishing measurable objectives, and documenting constraints for a growing company. You will create a professional project proposal that demonstrates strategic thinking and sets the foundation for a complete accounting system implementation.

Planning & Design

You will design an integrated accounting system by mapping workflows across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions, and selecting the right tools to support each process. You will create a detailed implementation plan that connects your prior accounting skills to specific workflow components and establishes a realistic roadmap for building the financial management system.

Build & Iteration

You will build a fully integrated financial management system by processing transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions using QuickBooks, Excel, and AI tools. You will apply professional quality standards and GAAP principles to produce accurate financial statements, supporting schedules, and audit-ready documentation for GreenTech Solutions.

Finalization & Quality Review

You will finalize your financial management system by completing all remaining components, conducting comprehensive quality validation, and verifying mathematical accuracy across every integrated function. You will create an executive summary and portfolio materials that communicate the business value of your work and position you as a job-ready accounting professional.
