This course introduces the foundations of community engagement and content strategy. You’ll learn how to build engaging online communities, create content that drives participation, and align community initiatives with broader business objectives. Through practical examples and guided activities, you’ll explore the role of a community manager, the key elements of successful online communities, and how various community types serve different goals.   • Introduction to community management
    • This module introduces you to the dynamic role of community management in today’s digital landscape. You will explore what makes online communities successful, examine the different types of communities and their unique characteristics, and assess how technologies like Meta can support community-building efforts.
  • Creating engagement strategies
    • This module introduces key methods for measuring and evaluating the success of engagement efforts. You will explore how to design effective community engagement strategies that foster meaningful interaction and participation. You will identify how to generate compelling content ideas, encourage user-generated contributions, and take a strategic approach to building active communities.
  • Content creation for communities
    • In this module, you will discover how to plan and create content that drives meaningful community engagement. You will develop skills in building effective content calendars, crafting compelling copy, and maintaining a consistent tone and voice across interactions. Additionally, you will explore best practices for creating and aligning content across technologies to encourage participation and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • User-generated content and community growth
    • In this module, you will explore strategies to foster active participation and encourage user-generated content in online communities. You will discover how to design engaging content formats, support and provide feedback to contributors, and effectively integrate member-created content into broader engagement efforts.
