Becoming a Decision Thinker introduces the Decision Quality framework—a systematic approach to evaluating complex personal and professional choices. You will master the six criteria of decision quality, counter cognitive biases, and apply probabilistic thinking to navigate uncertainty. Using AI as a collaborative thinking partner, you'll learn to frame problems clearly, generate viable alternatives, and commit to action with confidence. No prior math or AI experience required.

Syllabus

Module 1 The Decision Quality Mindset
- This module establishes the foundational distinction between decision quality and outcome quality, emphasizing that good processes are the true driver of long-term success. Learners are introduced to the six criteria of Decision Quality and the "Weakest Link Principle" to understand how to effectively improve their decision-making skills.
Module 2 Your AI Thinking Partner & Calibrating Uncertainty
- This module reframes AI as a collaborative "thinking partner" that amplifies human judgment and addresses overconfidence through Bayesian thinking.
Module 3 Overcoming Brain Traps
- This module provides tactical tools to mitigate cognitive biases and move from point estimates to robust, probabilistic decision-making.
Module 4 Framing and Values
- Learners define the "real" decision and structure their goals to ensure analysis is directed at the right problem using hierarchies and value weights.
