Introduction to AWS Security Governance at Scale

This course is designed for large, or scaling organizations. It focuses on automating cloud governance to enhance security. This includes retiring manual processes in account management, budget enforcement, and security operations and compliance. These areas allow for governance without inhibiting agility, speed, or innovation. They also allow for decision makers with the visibility, control, and governance necessary to protect sensitive data and systems.

Governance at Scale Management

This module covers the governance at scale focal points.

Governance Automation

This module explores multi-account strategy, guidance, and architectures. It covers how to implement governance with AWS Control Tower and use cases for a governance at scale solutions.

Preventive Controls

This module explains how goals must be met while also enforcing the security and compliance requirements of an organization.

Detective Controls

This module focuses on the operations aspect of governance at scale. In the previous module you learned learned about preventive controls, but how do you ensure that those resources stay properly configured, secured, and compliant? Can you identify and detect undesired changes on their configuration and compliance status? Once detected, what can you do about it?

Course Wrap Up
