- In this foundational course, you will learn essential AWS Cloud security concepts while developing a comprehensive understanding of the security engineer role within cloud environments. The course explores the AWS Shared Responsibility Model, helping you clearly define security duties and boundaries between AWS and customers. You will discover the Well-Architected Framework's security pillar and examine its seven key design principles that guide secure cloud architecture decisions. The curriculum examines typical security engineer workflows, including how to design secure architectures and implement appropriate security controls across various AWS services. Throughout the course, you will practice applying these concepts through hands-on scenarios that involve making real-world security decisions.
