Welcome to AWS Foundation for Senior Managers, a foundational course designed for business leaders, senior managers, decision-makers, project managers, and professionals who want to understand cloud computing, AWS infrastructure, migration strategies, and architectural best practices. The course also introduces the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Shared Responsibility Model, migration strategies using the 6 Rs framework, and AWS migration tools used by organizations during cloud transformation journeys. Additionally, you’ll explore the AWS Well-Architected Framework and gain foundational knowledge of its six pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability. Through a combination of conceptual lessons, business-focused examples, and practical scenarios, you’ll gain the knowledge needed to understand how AWS supports secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud environments for modern enterprises.   • Getting Started with Cloud Computing and AWS
    • In this module, you’ll be introduced to the foundational concepts of cloud computing and AWS Cloud services used by organizations across industries.You’ll explore cloud computing benefits, cloud service models such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS), along with deployment models including public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.The course also introduces AWS Cloud fundamentals, AWS global infrastructure, Region selection strategies, and enterprise cloud adoption methodologies through the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).Additionally, you’ll learn about the Shared Responsibility Model, migration strategies using the 6 Rs framework, and how organizations approach cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.By the end of this, you’ll have a strong understanding of cloud computing foundations, AWS infrastructure concepts, and cloud adoption strategies used in modern enterprise environments.
  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture Essentials
    • In this module, it will focus on AWS migration tools, architectural best practices, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework. You’ll explore AWS migration services and gain an understanding of how organizations migrate workloads, applications, and infrastructure to AWS Cloud environments. The course then introduces the AWS Well-Architected Framework and provides deep dives into its six core pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability. Additionally, you’ll learn how organizations design secure, resilient, scalable, high-performing, and cost-optimized architectures using AWS best practices and governance models. By the end of this, you’ll be able to understand AWS architectural principles, evaluate cloud workloads using Well-Architected concepts, and identify best practices for building modern cloud environments aligned with business and operational goals.
