Syllabus

Ansible Introduction & Inventory
- This module gives participants a practical foundation in Ansible and the essentials of managing infrastructure with inventories. You'll start with Ansible's purpose and advantages in IT automation, then set up a local lab environment using VirtualBox and install Ansible. Through interactive labs, you'll get comfortable with YAML syntax, a core element of Ansible configurations. Building on that foundation, you'll learn how to define and organize hosts in Ansible inventories, explore common inventory formats, and create effective group and parent-child hierarchies. Hands-on exercises reinforce working with inventory files and grouping strategies to efficiently manage infrastructure configurations.
