Syllabus

  • Environmental Impact Assessment and Management
    • Understanding the environmental impact of a company’s business is crucial for modern supply chains, both because of its potential consequences and because of the myriad of regulations related to it. In this module, you’ll discover what environmental impact assessment is, learn how it works and how to manage it, recognise how to identify, assess and mitigate environmental impacts and learn how to manage environmental assessment plans.
  • Sustainable Supply Chain Strategies
    • In today’s world, sustainability is a requirement for supply chains. Sustainable supply chains integrate environmental protection, social responsibility, and economic viability into every stage of this network. In this module, you’ll discover what sustainable supply chains are, how to recognise the key importance, key drivers and main challenges of sustainable supply chains, learn how sustainable sourcing and procurement processes work and how to measure, monitor, and report sustainability in supply chains.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility
    • Corporate Social Responsibility is indispensable for modern companies, especially for those working with supply chains, and not just because of legal compliance. It’s important for their role in society to be a positive one. In this module, you’ll learn the concept and evolution of corporate social responsibility, recognise the importance of corporate social responsibility for modern businesses, identify key global standards and frameworks guiding corporate social responsibility practices, and discover how to monitor and report corporate social responsibility.
  • Developing a Sustainability Plan
    • As in the rest of supply chains, planning is crucial for sustainability. In this final module of the last course, we integrate the knowledge gained from the previous modules to focus on creating a comprehensive, strategic sustainability plan. You’ll explore the fundamentals of supply chain planning, learn how to design a sustainability plan and how to make them more effective, and how to monitor sustainability plans.
  • Supply Chain Sustainability Final Project
    • Welcome to the final project of the course "Supply Chain Sustainability"! This hands-on project will be graded and necessary for you to receive your certificate. It will require around 60 minutes to complete, so make sure to set aside enough time to focus on it!
