Syllabus

  • Getting Started with Dreamweaver
    • Abode® Dreamweaver® CC is an application used by administrators, designers, and developers to create and maintain websites and web pages to be displayed on browsers, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Creating a Site
    • In Adobe® Dreamweaver® CC, a site organizes all the files associated with your website. It lets you maintain links, manage files, and transfer your files to a web server. Once your site is defined, you will want to create a file structure to keep your work organized and begin thinking about how visitors will navigate through your content.
  • Creating a Page
    • Once you define your site, you can begin building pages. Adobe® Dreamweaver® CC offers a flexible environment for creating web documents in a variety of formats. You can choose to create a new blank document or a document based on an existing template.
  • Styling with CSS
    • CSS, short for Cascading Style Sheets, gives both web designers and users more control over how pages are displayed. With CSS, you can create style sheets that define how different elements, such as headers and links, appear. These style sheets can then be applied to any web page.
  • Inserting Images
    • Images play an important role in making your website come to life. When choosing images, you need to consider both technical and aesthetic considerations. Once you have inserted your images, you can format them by using CSS styling.
  • Inserting Links
    • Links connect web pages. They are what make the Internet work, allowing us to travel from one page to the next with a single click. Without links, the Internet would simply be a collection of separate, unconnected pages.
  • Displaying Data in Tables
    • Tables enable you to organize your data. Tabular data is placed into columns and rows and can easily be modified or styled.
  • Publishing Your Site
    • In the final stages of web design, check spelling and grammar, ensure your data is current, and verify that all links work. These steps will build visitors' confidence in your site and its content. The last and most exciting step is to upload your files and make your site live.
  • Completing the Course
    • You'll wrap things up and then validate what you've learned in this course by taking an assessment.
