    • In this module, learners will gain a deeper understanding of how research is conducted across different academic fields by examining real-world examples from faculty at various UC campuses. Through interviews and case studies, students will explore the roles and responsibilities of professors in advancing knowledge and compare research practices across disciplines. The module also highlights the value of undergraduate research, offering practical strategies for getting involved and contributing meaningfully to scholarly work. By the end of this module, learners will appreciate the diversity of research approaches and understand how to take their first steps toward participating in academic research.
