Students will learn how to write jokes, blackouts, scenes and a variety of comedy devices, formats, and scene types as well as brainstorming techniques, proper formatting, so they can start to build a cache of comedy material. Students will also learn how to contribute to others’ ideas and pitches, a valuable writer's room skill.
