Winter Trees Using Pen and Ink (Live Online)

via CourseHorse

Overview

Winter is a special time to draw trees because their structure is exposed, presenting an opportunity to do a portrait or a complex branch study. Nib pens may be used, as can colored ink, ranging from black to sepia to bright colors, allowing you to depict form and texture. In addition to line drawing, ink washes will be explored to add other details to your artwork. A supply list will be sent. Prerequisite: Botanical Drawing 1 or comparable coursework.

This class will be taught online via Zoom. All registrations must be submitted online two days before your class starts. Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance.
