The core idea behind React is the component: a self-contained block of code that encapsulates both logic and presentation. Once built, a component can be reused throughout an application, eliminating redundancy and making code more predictable.
In this course, you will work through React from the ground up, starting with component composition and advancing through state management, hooks, and full-stack application development using the MERN stack. You will build multiple web applications throughout the course.
Prerequisite:
Students should be comfortable with JavaScript programming at a level equivalent to our JavaScript Programming Bootcamp, including functions, objects, and data types. You should also have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS, and experience with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
