During 90 minutes of instruction, you will accomplish the following:
- Fold paper correctly using diverse folding techniques and approaches
- Recognize and name different types of folds and their purposes
- Create memorable origami animal shapes you'll remember and recreate
- Discover creative, practical applications for finished origami pieces
We begin with basic origami shapes and gradually progress toward more complex shapes introducing advanced folding techniques. Throughout the session, you'll create the following animals in sequential order: fish, butterfly, crane, and the entertaining jumping frog.
No prior origami experience is necessary, and we provide everything you need for successful creation, including a vibrant, inspiring selection of colorful origami square paper sheets in multiple colors and patterns.
