Cupping is the industry standard method used by green bean buyers to select which coffee varieties to purchase, by roasters to help guide their roast profiles and development, and by baristas to determine how best to brew and serve coffee in the cafe environment. It is also a wonderful and educational tool for coffee enthusiasts to taste a curated variety of coffees in a controlled, professional environment.
