The FOURTH segment of the comprehensive Advanced level five-course series designed for children ages 14-17 with an Advanced Level.
Materials are not included in the tuition.
Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors promote the use of Spanish in the classroom by using Spanish activities, grammar drills, visual elements as well as conversation. Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.
Advanced level description: A great course for students who are 14 to 17 years old and have completed Advanced 3 or have an equivalent level of Spanish. During this class students will learn about the following:
Advanced level content: Talking about advertising, reacting to advertisements, expressing feelings and states of mind, direct and indirect object pronouns and their position, expressing feelings with infinitive and subjunctive (me da pena, me divierte...), advertising vocabulary, moods and emotional states, youth cultures in the Spanish-speaking world, humanities project (learning to think), and a reading workshop: Why do we follow fashion trends?
