Do not worry if you don’t know how to draw. This class is specifically designed for you. This class is for you, even if you have drawn a bit but want an organized approach to drawing to speed up your learning and prevent wasted, frustrating efforts.
We start with a short discussion of the pencil scale, what they do, and how we should use them. We will then learn how to draw the 3-dimensional world on a 2-dimensional surface using and enhancing basic forms. We will learn how to draw lines over forms and improve their quality.
Students should bring a drawing pad and at least a 2b pencil and an eraser. If possible please also bring an 2h and 4b pencil.
