Participate in this on-camera acting class focused on film and television performance. All sessions are recorded, and you'll review your footage on a monitor at the conclusion of each class. Class sizes remain intentionally small to provide everyone with individual camera time. Should you wish to focus on particular areas of development, personalized coaching will be available.
You'll develop skills in eyeline technique, voice projection, emotional range, and physical presence. The instructor emphasizes authenticity and emotional openness while sharing professional insights from years of close-up work. The curriculum includes monologues, improvisational exercises, commercial auditions, and scene studies drawn primarily from film material.
Training centers on practical "acting technique" using a varied teaching approach. Every element is designed to optimize your on-screen presence and effectiveness. During the final session, your completed work will be screened in a theater setting for industry professionals, including casting directors, agents, and managers.
Important: This course is restricted to new students only.
Note: An orientation session begins at 6:15 pm, with the main class commencing at 7:00 pm sharp. Punctuality is essential.
This course is also offered as a single-session trial option. Please visit the Essentials of Film Acting 110 (Single Session) page to reserve that format.
