Join other artists as they improve their painting skills from home. Mary Gingrich presents color mixing and other techniques. Each artist chooses their own subject. Transfer and canvas preparation are also addressed for each project. Individual instruction is offered throughout the class. The “Efficient Palette” method uses only 11 colors (listed in the class materials). Oils, water soluble oils or acrylics are recommended for this class.

- Titanium White
- Ivory Black
- Lemon Yellow
- Cadmium Yellow (med)
- Cadmium Red (light)
- Alizarin Crimson
- Cerulean Blue
- Ultramarine Blue
- Yellow Ochre
- Burnt Sienna
- Raw Umber
- Brushes of various sizes (bristle, or whatever you have)
- Turpenoid (if needed)
- Palette or painting knives
- Several sizes of canvas, no bigger than 16”x20”
- Easel (floor or table)
