Virtual Draping Class: Learn to Drape a Skirt and Create a Pattern
In this hands-on virtual class, you’ll receive an adjustable Prym dress form shipped directly to you. Join us live on Zoom each week for expert guidance in draping and pattern making.
Class Duration & Structure
The course spans four weeks, with each session lasting 2 hours (8 hours total). During this time, you’ll learn the basics of draping a skirt using muslin and create a pattern from your draped design that can be used to make a skirt.
Required Supplies
Upon enrollment, a Prym adjustable dress form will be shipped to you. You’ll also need to purchase 3 yards of lightweight muslin, tailor’s chalk, quilter’s pins, pattern paper, a mechanical pencil, Scotch tape, a beveled ruler, and a French curve. An Amazon link will be provided to help you gather these materials.
Virtual Class Recordings
All virtual classes will be recorded. If you miss a session or want to review the content, you can request access to the recording. Please note, only the instructor will be recorded, and recordings are available exclusively to enrolled students.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your enrollment, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance. Once the class begins, no refunds will be offered.
