Overview

With Camtasia, you can create compelling software demonstrations and effective soft skills training videos. This comprehensive class teaches you how to leverage this powerful video creation and editing platform.

You will learn how to import slides from your existing PowerPoint presentations directly into a Camtasia project to build upon your current materials. You will discover how to create professional software demonstrations using Camtasia's built-in Recorder tool. You will use the Camtasia Editor to add animations, record and edit voiceover narration, incorporate graphics and music, add annotations and visual markers, include closed captions for accessibility, and create interactive quizzes for learner engagement. You will learn how to share your finished Camtasia projects so they can be accessed on multiple devices by your learners, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. You will also configure published content so it can be hosted on a variety of platforms, including web servers, Learning Management Systems, YouTube, and Screencast.com.

Prerequisites:

Attendees should have basic familiarity with computers and common software interfaces. No prior experience with Camtasia is required to succeed in this course.
