Black and White Photography: Masters and Composition (Live Online)

Overview

Discover the timeless power of monochrome. Each class will spotlight a renowned photographer and a specific composition method across genres—landscape, abstract and geometry, still life, street photography, and visual storytelling. Uncover how they mastered light, form, and composition to create images that transcend time. Through inspiring examples and practical insights, you will gain fresh perspectives and techniques to elevate your black-and-white photography. You will be encouraged to analyze, discuss, and apply these concepts in your work. 

This class will be taught online via Zoom. All registrations must be submitted online two days before your class starts. Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance. 

An understanding of Lightroom or Photoshop is required. The course requires a digital SLR camera or a mirrorless camera. The School’s CEUs=15 hours FPC requirement option, fine art track
