NYCPA aims to provide comprehensive skills in reading and writing music notation while building your ability to understand and analyze music, ranging from basic fundamentals to the most advanced concepts.
High-level music theory training provides a deeper understanding of the compositional process through music reading, scales, intervals, keys, and various musical components. A solid understanding of music theory is essential for developing into an accomplished pianist.

Who is this class for?
Anyone ages 8-10 who wants to learn how to read and write music notation, understand and analyze music from basic to advanced concepts. This program is available in jazz or classical music style.
