Join this Online Commercial Voice-Over Masterclass featuring top agent Liz Klausner from DPN Talent. This live, interactive class is designed for adults aged 16 and older and offers the unique opportunity to perform your commercial work, receive direct feedback from an industry professional, and participate in a question-and-answer session. The class will be held online via Zoom. You will have the ability to download recordings of your performances for your personal educational use. You may also share your headshot, professional resume, and voice-over reel with Liz for constructive feedback and instruction. All materials will remain under the studio's control and are intended solely for educational feedback purposes; they will not be used for casting decisions, employment placement, or representation agreements.
Liz Klausner brings extensive expertise from her career in voice-over representation that began at Paradigm Talent Agency in 2008. She spent considerable time in recording studios, directing actors while assisting experienced agents in the Promo Department. After four years at Paradigm, she transitioned to Innovative Artists as an On-Camera Commercial Agent, where she expanded her industry knowledge by representing on-camera actors and professional models. In September 2015, Liz returned to her passion for voice-over work, joining JMT (Jason Marks Talent) as a manager representing voice-over artists primarily in the trailer industry. During this period, she also accepted a position as an adjunct professor at PACE University in 2016, teaching a course titled "The Business of Voice Over," an experience she cherishes, particularly as she now represents one of her former students. After three years managing talent at JMT, Liz was invited to rejoin Paradigm as a Voice-Over Agent in the New York Commercial department, a return she welcomed until the pandemic led to significant staff reductions. In April 2020, Liz joined KMR Talent alongside colleagues Matt Ambrosia and Matt Smith to develop and expand their boutique voice-over department. During her tenure there, she broadened her expertise to include audiobook, podcast, and dubbing work while continuing to represent clients in commercial, promo, video game, and animation projects.
As of 2024, Liz Klausner has worked across every facet of the voice-over industry, expertise she brings to her current role as an agent at DPN Talent. She and her team established the New York branch of DPN on March 18, 2024, bringing along a roster of accomplished artists and actors from their previous agency. She is dedicated to cultivating diverse and creative opportunities for her clients while building greater awareness around the transformative power of the human voice. Liz is based in Beacon, New York, in the Hudson Valley, where she enjoys time in nature and volunteers with the local community theater.
