As the second course in the Developing APIs with Google Cloud’s Apigee API Platform series, this course builds upon the additional security concepts and tools used for REST APIs and API products. You’ll examine common security concerns found in modern API environments.
This course explores key fundamentals of API security, including:
- Working with OAuth, JSON Web Tokens (JWTs), and federated security approaches
- Protecting APIs from malicious requests and securing data transmissions across networks
- Using Apigee to secure, scale, and manage APIs and API products
Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and supplemental materials, you will interact with the Apigee API Platform while exploring API design, development, and management concepts.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to apply best practices to APIs and use Apigee tools to support secure API management on Google Cloud.
