This beginner path introduces the foundations of programming with Python. You will write and run simple programs, display messages, add comments, and work with basic text and numeric values.
You will store and update data using clearly named variables, convert between text and numbers, and apply arithmetic, comparison, and logical operators. You will also combine variables and text to create readable output and solve formula-based problems.
Finally, you will build programs that make decisions using if, elif, and else statements. Along the way, you will use Boolean values and flowcharts to understand branching logic and avoid common errors involving conditions and indentation.
