Great course to understand the important role played by seldom-noticed factors, e.g., germs and diseases, in history. I learned a lot about world history, my country's history (when doing self-directed research) and the diseases themselves during this mooc. The instructors are knowledgeable and topics are interesting.

Absolutely fascinating course on how disease has affected history. It makes you wonder how the world would have been different if we had not been at the mercy of microbes and viruses.

Very impressive and informative class about how the different microbes changed history.
This is more history than microbiology but still fascinating.
