In this course, you will learn how to deploy, configure, and secure Strands Shell as the execution layer for AI agents in production environments. Strands Shell is a Bourne-compatible, in-process shell implemented in Rust that provides over 50 reimplemented POSIX/coreutils commands without invoking fork, exec, or raw syscalls. You will master the deny-by-default security model, author TOML-based sandbox policies, integrate Strands Shell as both an MCP server and a Python SDK tool, and operationalize sandboxed agent execution within CI/CD pipelines and multi-agent architectures.
