Welcome to this two-hour Aalto EE Master Class delving into the principles and applications of System Dynamics as a modelling tool. After this Master Class, you will have a basic understanding of how to model dynamic systems, and how it can be applied in the engineering and manufacturing space. This is a recording of a live Master Class organized on 19.6.2024. You will get access to the recording for 7 days.

After this two-hour Master Class session, you should be able to:

  • Define modelling and system dynamics.
  • Understand several of the techniques, architectures, and tools for system dynamics modelling.
  • Develop basic generic models using causal loop diagrams and level-rate diagrams.
  • Grasp the development thought process related to a model oriented towards the engineering and manufacturing space.

Content and Schedule

Led by Aalto University expert this Master Class will introduced you to some of the System Dynamics graphical modelling techniques, how these techniques relate to the underlying mathematical models, and tools which allow them to be implemented so that you can evaluate system behaviours without the need for complex mathematical calculations.
