‘Inclusive Practices for a Diverse Society’ a multidisciplinary value-added course is designed to address the national priority of diversity and inclusion as mandated in the NEP 2020. By shifting the narrative to embracing diversity as a natural human variation, the course aims to build awareness of the social and academic implications of diverse needs of people and their difficulties with conditions like SpLDs, ASD, ADHD, etc. Participants will gain the ability to understand diversity in general and distinguish between various Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), etc. and conceptualize Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles for accessible learning environments. Ultimately, this course will serve as a foundation for aspiring participants, equipping them with the sensitization strategies and skills necessary to foster a more equitable and inclusive society.
