Maintenance Resource Management (MRM) is an extension of pilot training known as Cockpit Resource Management (CRM). MRM is Human Factors at the conceptual level and is an important part of the FAA regulatory direction for FAR Part 145 training programs. This course looks at the origin of MRM and the current thinking regarding implementing Human Factors in maintenance. Students will review methods of improving personal performance such as using the SMART method and handling distractions. Students will learn how teamwork safety nets and norms affect his/her personal performance.
