He is a Mechanical Engineer with excellent managerial skills. He had worked in diversified industries like Food processing, Boilers, Sugar manufacturing, co-generation and distillery.
He served as a DST Project Staff in VIT University, Vellore and pursed Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (By Research) in VIT University.
He is the First MS graduate in Mechanical engineering in VIT University. *Since M.S., (Engg) by Research regulation is equivalent to Ph.D , Prof.Nagaraja Mohan had undergone the prescribed Course works by the committee, passed the CV Examinations, Obtained Candidacy confirmation, Published 02 peer-reviewed International Journals; Presented the Thesis Colloquium, Presented the Synopsis, Thesis reviewed by 02 external examiners, Thesis highly commended and has been awarded M.S. (By Research) degree after open defending of thesis.
