All students have a right to participate in education, whether they are neurodivergent or not. Not all neurodivergent people consider themselves to have a disability, but due to some differences in the way our brains work, and the way that higher education is currently set up, we may require support to complete our studies.
The first module will help learners to better understand neurodiversity - including types of neurodivergent profiles, their strengths, and barriers to diagnosis. Then we will focus on identifying your personal learning preferences, and specific learning strategies to help you thrive in your studies. We will also cover managing wellbeing, and how reasonable adjustments and accommodations may help support you in your learning experiences.
