It consists of 12 units and 48 lectures. The aim is to cultivate students' ability in discourse analysis, basic writing skills, especially practical writing skills; to train students' translation skills, especially translation of English scientific and technological documents; and, on the basis of reading and writing, students are trained to effectively apply textual knowledge and writing skills to listening and speaking.
