Course Background:Digital mapping technology is a modern mapping technology that has emerged with the update of surveying and mapping instruments and the development of mapping technology. Digital Mapping is one of the core courses of surveying and mapping engineering technology in higher vocational education, and occupies an important position in the teaching system of professional courses. The pre-professional courses of this course include "Engineering CAD" and "Basic Surveying and Mapping", and the follow-up courses include "Digital Mapping Comprehensive Practice" and "Control Surveying".Main content of the course:In the teaching process, this course introduces the national professional standard of "Engineering Surveyor", "1:500 1:1000 1:2000 Topographic Map Schema", "1:500 1:1000 1:2000 Field Digital Mapping Technical Regulations", "Quality Inspection and Acceptance of Surveying and Mapping Results" and other measurement specifications. Through the study of this course, students can proficiently operate a digital mapping software, master field data collection methods, internal computer mapping methods, paper map scanning vectorization methods and the application of digital topographic maps in engineering.Cultivation Ability:According to the professional ability and quality requirements of digital mapping positions, through this course, students master the necessary professional knowledge and skills such as digital mapping field data collection, internal data processing and mapping, topographic map scanning vectorization, digital topographic map application, etc., have preliminary technical design and summary writing ability, cultivate diligent thinking work habits, rigorous work style and teamwork spirit and other basic qualities, as well as the family and country feelings of surveyors in the new era of "traveling all over the green mountains and drawing new maps".
