The course provides a practical introduction to data literacy for non-technical learners. You will learn how data is created, collected, and used in modern society. The course covers essential skills including data collection methods, data cleaning and preparation, basic statistical analysis, and data visualization. You will also explore ethical considerations, data governance, and how to make informed decisions using data. By the end of this course, you will be able to work confidently with data in Excel/Google Sheets, create meaningful visualisations, and critically evaluate data-driven claims in your professional and personal life.
