The course offers a comprehensive exploration of anatomy and pathology in Dento-MaxilloFacial Radiology, focusing on the challenges and possibilities of various imaging modalities, including CBCT. Participants will learn the art and science of reporting findings from 2D and 3D datasets, enhancing their ability to describe pathological findings and provide clinical recommendations. The course, delivered over 4 weeks in a modular format, aims to improve foundational knowledge and promote higher-order thinking skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving for experienced clinicians in dental medicine. By the end of the course, learners will be competent in identifying anatomic landmarks, making differential diagnosis, and understanding the applications of CBCT in various dental specialties. This course, led by the team at HKU/Faculty of Dentistry, promises to equip participants with valuable skills and knowledge in the field of DMFR.
