QRadar collects network activity information, or what is referred to as "flow records". Flows represent network activity by normalizing IP addresses, ports, byte and packet counts, as well as other details, into "flows", which effectively represent a session between two hosts. QRadar can collect different types of flows, which differ greatly in the collected details.
