This course is a decision-making scenario during hot summer weather where the pilot needs to make decisions along a 300-nm route about thunderstorm weather. The weather may become an issue depending on the decisions you make. The decisions include facing potential pop-up thunderstorms, facing degrading weather, and facing life threatening weather. Poor/good/better/best explanations for decision points are given. The scenario is accompanied by a chapter on thunderstorm avoidance strategies, resources, and a 5 to 10 question quiz.
