Radio communication is one of the core skills that a pilot must learn. Unlike the 1960's where much flying was done at laconic non-towered airports, much of today's flight involves high density airspace, very busy towered and non-towered airports and a myriad of needs to contact ATC. Nearly half the pilot population is now instrument rated and there is a need to improve pilot communication skills. This course is an AOPA Air Safety Foundation Online Course and is eligible for WINGS credit after completion through their web site.
