TSA Security Awareness Training for CFIs is a FREE TSA compliant course that can be used for recurrent TSA security awareness training. The course is also included as a lesson in the King Schools' Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC). As an active flight instructor, you are required to complete TSA security awareness training within 60 days of hire or beginning flight training as a CFI, and then complete recurrent training bi-annually in the same month as the initial training. This course satisfies your recurrent training requirement.
