Students will see some reasons, why we as mechanics, repairmen, owners, operators, distributors, brokers, or whatever function, an individual fills in aviation, should be concerned with parts, that are suspected, or known to be unapproved. Students will have a working understanding of how to detect unapproved parts in the workplace and how they get into the system. Students will understand the dangers of unapproved parts and what they mean to aviation safety. Students will also know the procedure for reporting unapproved parts when suspected or discovered.
