By the end of this course, you will be able to: - Frame strategic workforce planning challenges with clear scope and success metrics. - Build automated workforce dashboards in Power BI with KPIs and DAX formulas. - Create integrated people health views combining engagement and risk signals. - Assess AI and automation impacts on workforce needs and role evolution. Build the foundations of strategic workforce planning by learning to frame workforce challenges, interpret key metrics, and build comprehensive people health dashboards. You will use Power BI and Viva Insights to create automated dashboards that provide real-time visibility into workforce trends, engagement levels, and organizational health indicators. This course establishes the analytical foundation necessary for data-driven workforce decisions. The curriculum requires Power BI Desktop (Windows PC or Mac with Parallels Desktop) and utilizes Microsoft Word and Excel. While Microsoft 365 online versions may offer free alternatives, the desktop versions with Copilot provide the optimal learning experience for creating sophisticated planning documents and professional dashboards. All Viva Insights activities include provided sample datasets to ensure you can practice these techniques immediately, regardless of your current access to internal organizational data. This course is for human resource (HR) professionals with core HR knowledge, basic Excel proficiency, and an interest in learning Power BI for strategic workforce analytics.
