Your personal brand exists right now whether you have shaped it intentionally or not. Every post, introduction, and interaction either builds your reputation deliberately or leaves it to chance, and in a professional landscape where decision-makers scroll past dozens of profiles before reaching yours, the difference between a crafted brand and an accidental one is the difference between being sought out and being overlooked. In this course, you will work through a practical, end-to-end framework for taking control of your brand from the ground up. You will define your differentiator, map your motivations, build a support network of mentors and advisors, design and run a six-month brand campaign, and put your brand to work across LinkedIn, video, workplace conversations, conferences, and networking events. By the end of this course, you will be able to build, communicate, and grow a personal brand that reflects who you are and consistently opens the professional doors you want to walk through.

Syllabus

  • Defining Your Personal Brand
    • You have a personal brand right now, whether you've shaped it intentionally or not. In this module, you'll define what makes your brand distinctive, work through a proven process for overcoming imposter syndrome, and build the differentiator that sets you apart.
  • Understand Yourself
    • Your brand strategy only works when it is built on a clear understanding of where you want to go and why. In this module, you'll map your motivations, apply the five golden rules of personal branding, and craft a brand story you can deliver confidently in any setting.
  • Accelerate With Sponsors
    • No one builds a strong personal brand entirely on their own. In this module, you'll identify what to look for in a mentor and how to approach one, then build out your personal advisory board by mapping the specific types of support your brand needs right now.
  • A Personal Brand Campaign
    • A personal brand strategy only delivers results when it moves from intention to action and then into continuous improvement. In this module, you'll build a six-month communication plan, put it into practice across the channels that matter most to your audience, and develop the revision habit that keeps your brand growing long after the initial launch.
  • Communicating Your Brand
    • Your brand is only as strong as how you communicate it. In this module, you'll build the practical skills to show up effectively across video, LinkedIn, your workplace, every audience touchpoint, and live conversations, so that every interaction reinforces the brand you are building.
  • Promotion and Visibility
    • Visibility does not happen by accident. In this module, you'll master the networking moves that expand your reach, position yourself as a connector who creates value for others, extend your brand through volunteering, and make the most of every conference and trade show opportunity.
  • Conclusion
    • You have covered the full arc of personal brand building: from foundation to campaign to visibility. In this module, you'll consolidate everything you have learned, commit to the habits that will keep your brand growing over time, and leave with a clear picture of what consistent investment in your brand looks like from here.
