In this course, you'll learn a structured approach to analyzing and comparing telecom companies using financial metrics, valuation techniques, and comparable company analysis (COMPS). Working through real-world examples, you'll develop the skills to evaluate company performance, interpret financial data, and benchmark organizations across different markets. You'll begin by learning how to standardize currency conversions, apply estimation methods, and incorporate company guidance into financial analysis. From there, you'll examine industry growth, market share, revenue segmentation, profitability, enterprise value, and share price calculations to build a comprehensive understanding of telecom company valuation. The course then brings these concepts to life through case studies featuring Vodafone, Telstra, Verizon, and Bharti Airtel. You'll analyze financial statements, evaluate estimates and EPS, assess valuation adjustments, compare operational performance, and interpret market positioning using consistent financial frameworks. In the final module, you'll build a complete Comparable Company Analysis (COMPS) by selecting peer companies, applying valuation multiples such as EV/EBITDA, organizing financial metrics, and presenting your analysis in a structured output sheet. Whether you're looking to strengthen your financial analysis skills or improve your ability to compare companies using standardized valuation methods, this course provides a practical, case-based learning experience focused exclusively on the telecom industry. By the end of the course, you'll be able to confidently analyze telecom companies, evaluate valuation metrics, compare financial performance across peers, and communicate clear, data-driven insights using industry-standard comparison techniques.
